Electronic Stability Control Testing
Conduct 'Slowly Increasing Steer' and 'Sine with Dwell' tests to US and EU standards with VBOX
- Test to FMVSS126 (US) and ECE R13H (EU) standards
- No need for additional ride height sensors or accelerometer packs
- Compatible with steering robots for test consistency
- Highly accurate speed, distance, heading and yaw rate measurements
- Real-time output of all measured parameters
Validate your ESC system with VBOX
When coupled with an IMU, the 100 Hz VBOX provides highly accurate speed, distance, heading and yaw rate measurements that can be used to validate your ESC system to both the US FMVSS126 and EU ECE R13H test standards.
VBOX can be used with both Anthony Best Dynamics and VEHICO steering control robots to ensure consistency, and all measured parameters are displayed in real-time, to reduce the need for post-test analysis.
Highly Accurate
The VBOX data logger provides high accuracy speed, distance and headings measurements.
Robot Integration
VBOX equipment can be used with Anthony Best Dynamics and VEHICO driving robots, to achieve the necessary level of consistency.
Live Display
VBOX Test Suite installed on a Windows device within the test vehicle offers real-time display of all measured parameters.
Standard-compliant
Allows for compliance testing to FMVSS126 and ECE R13H verification standards.
Cost Effective
Cost effective compared to the combination of accelerometers, ride height sensors and radar traditional used for ESC testing.
Intuitive Analysis Software
VBOX Test Suite analysis software
Our user-friendly, intuitive data analysis software makes the process of recording and analysing your test data as quick and easy as possible.
Multiple data sets can be analysed simultaneously in the workspace area, with a separate tab for each test ensuring all your data is available on one screen.
A comprehensive report can be generated at the end of the test, providing all session information and results for post-test analysis.
Testing Equipment
A typical ESC test setup consists of a VBOX 100 Hz data logger and an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), which are often used alongside steering control robots manufactured by Anthony Best Dynamics or VEHICO.
