More with VBOX 4

As automotive testing demands evolve, the VBOX 4 introduces several key improvements over the VBOX 3i, particularly the V3 and earlier models. These updates make it a versatile and reliable choice for those looking to future-proof their testing setups.

MORE Resilient Signal Acquisition

With its new dual-band GNSS receiver supporting up to four constellations (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou), the VBOX 4 offers enhanced positional accuracy and reliability. RTK correction is now available as standard on all variants of VBOX 4, providing cm-level position accuracy with faster acquisition and reacquisition times. IMU integration further improves signal reliability, especially in challenging environments prone to interference or signal loss.

MORE
CAN Logging

One of the standout features of VBOX 4 is its advanced CAN logging capabilities. It supports full CAN bus logging, including CAN FD, capturing all data without needing pre-selection of channels. With three separate input buses and two independent CAN FD capable ports, VBOX 4 can synchronise two separate CAN buses into a single .asc file, offering easy data transfer and complete flexibility in post-test data analysis.

MORE Precision

For those using inertial measurement units, VBOX 4 integrates with the IMU05 and IMU05-S, offering improved pitch, roll, and yaw accuracy compared to the VBOX 3i. This ensures more accurate data when performing high-dynamic tests, providing clearer insights into vehicle dynamics. Additionally, the VBOX 4 has a higher analogue input signal impedance (1.8 MΩ vs. 100 kΩ in earlier models), which minimizes signal loading and preserves signal integrity. This higher impedance ensures more accurate readings, especially when working with low-power or high-impedance sources.

MORE Connectivity

VBOX 4 brings modern connectivity options with Ethernet, fully integrated Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, high-retention USB B and SD Card (replacing CF Card) logging. This enhanced connectivity simplifies the testing setup, ensures faster data transfer, and offers seamless compatibility with driving robots from all major manufacturers.
